SCM is a creative space where spirit is welcome.
It's a spiritual space where creativity soars beyond the bounds of the art system.

Weird, freaky, witchy, queer, priestess-y kind of spirit.
Quiet, scared, alone, grieving kind of spirit.
All spirits welcome.

I am a Priestess-in-training with the Kohenet Institute. We are a diverse group of Jewish-identified folks who work with social justice, creativity, spirit and sexuality. SCM is the place I do my Priestess labour.

Some of the possibilities SCM offers:

ritual co-design for moving through difficult places
spiritual guidance, with our without the Divine
officiancy for queer and trans rites of passage: commitment ceremonies; weddings – including poly formations; ancestral connections; baby namings; cultural (re)entry; sexual healing
mapping a relationship to Jewish culture and tradition that is not patriarchal, colonial/Zionist or heteronormative
alternative prayers such as: treaty recognition; forgiveness of ancestors; land appreciation; preparation for direct action; and transforming through sexuality

MKV

MKV is my queer, gender fluid version of the beautiful and ancient Jewish tradition of ritual bathing. The Mikvah waters surround you through any passage or change. They are traditionally understood to be the womb of the Divine.

I offer MKV for queer and trans identified folks. Emersion in sacred water can assist with moving through the particular challenges our sacred journeys contain. I co-create the emersion that feels right with you, in a bathtub of your choice.

MKV is designed to help with:

movement through gender changes
preparation for and recovery from surgery
healing from sexual and physical trauma
working with fertility
welcoming new approaches to self-care, such as: work, diet and sleep changes
considering aging and blood cycle changes
dealing with break ups
inviting new lovers
exploring enthusiastic consent
embracing celibacy
all things related to embodied self-love
